    January 2006 Babies

    I'm going to be a January mummy if my baby comes on time. I am due 2nd January 2006. but who know's when the little one will arrive! Hopefully not on Christmas day.

    Where should baby sleep to start with?

    I heard that baby should be in the parents room for the first 6 months at least. I don't know what I am going to do as our bedroom is so tiny. Not sure where the cot is going to fit!

    Heard heartbeat for first time today....

    How soon do symptoms begin?

    My symptoms began straight after ovulation. My nipples were extremely sore for 2 weeks and then I did the test and got a BFP and the symptoms came flooding (tiredness, nausea etc). good luck sx

    I first see my midwife at 8 weeks and she put all my details and records in a red book. I get the red book on thursday to take home with me. Is this what I need to give my work as proof?

    Hi Girls As I am now 12 weeks I am not sure how to go about organising my maternity etc. Shall I book an appointment with my HR department? I have my 12 week scan on Thursday so should I wait until Friday when I know everything is OK with baby? Many thanks for any advice, sx
