Go to the doc or your midwife if you're worried hun. Bipolar runs in my family so I had to see a consultant about it the other day to make sure me and my OH were watching for the signs - from what I was told pregnancy can trigger all sorts of things in our bodies and minds so it's always better...
They don't mind either way - their opinion is that I'm the one carrying it around for 9 months getting sickness and stretchmarks so I can call it my surname. I guess we're lucky to have chilled out relatives but still...don't let anyone pressure you into giving your baby a name you don't like!
I'm going to double barrel. My OH doesn't mind if it just takes my surname but I don't want people to think that the bub isn't his so would rather have his name on their as well!
I agree with the others saying it's probably a bit early to test. I had a weird feeling of total exhaustion around implantation time (my OH and I used to go running every night but all of a sudden I couldn't even make it to the end of the road - thought I was just suddenly getting really...
I had the nuchal and bloods screening for Downs but I'm older (31) so my risk was higher. Once it was done, finding out everything looks fine and i'm really low risk was one less thing to worry about for us.

My scan's on 29th December - luckily our hospital will tell the sex so we'll be finding out then (I hate suprises!)
Ta ra...
Off topic but I just wanted to say that as today is Armistice Day and on Rememberance Sunday this weekend I'll be wearing my Poppy with pride....
My OH is a Veteran who fought for his country, putting his life on the line in hell holes all over the world for 10 years and I'm so proud of him and...
My mum's 66 and is getting really excited about the prospect of being a grandparent. I told her the big news on the day we went to scatter my granny's ashes on a beautiful day in the sussex countryside, which seemed kind of fitting.
Last night she started knitting a cute little froggy hat for...
Jeez yeah...i'll have my legs tightly crossed that day! My OH thinks it's hilarious and keeps suggesting names like Lucifer and Damien. Grrrr!
I will indeed be off the the land of tri 2 tomorrow - yikes!
xxx
Our dates have moved since our scan and the cub is now due on 13th May along with pinkymum and newlywed - must have been nothing on the telly that night in August!
