At long last Otis has finally learnt how to roll over (back to tummy)!!! Thought it would never happen, but now some how he's forgotten how to roll from front to back (he's be doing that for awhile now) , so he just lies there squealing :| !
But I'm ever so happy I can join the rest of you mums in the rolling over club :cheer: !

Yipee!!!!!

Well done Otis :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Leorah has done it both ways and screams!! She did start to roll onto her side again this morning but god help our ears if she rolls onto her tummy  I was worried about her not doing it but a baby at our mother group is rolling over and over across the room and nearly crawling and is only 10 days older than Leorah (but much bigger and stronger!) and it made me realise there is no hurry and I should enjoy her being a baby while I can :)

Oh BTW my HV said when babies start doing a new thing they use so much concentration they sometimes temporarily forget things they used to be able to do

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Well Done Otis

Gabriella hasn't mastered rolling all the way over yet but she is getting there. She now sleeps on her side with her thumb in her mouth; it is so cute and she doesn't need mitts on at night anymore :cheer:

just a quick update, this morning Otis has remembered how to roll the other way as well so he's been round his playmat a couple of times  ! Must be exhausting for him, hopefully he'll have a good nap in a bit then  ...

yay awwww thats great well done Otis! Daggers i bet your pleased as punch hun. Alfie can roll both ways but like you said skatty he used to roll onto his front and scream his little head off like leorah, he could roll back no problems but knew if we were watching we would do it for him and its less effort for him  so i left him to it one day and he did he rolled back, only daddy then came home and just kept rolling him back, so why should he bother if he doesnt need to? anyway daddy has been away for 2 weeks so mummy has just pretended not to be watching, and he just does it himself now, so im pleased really i didnt keep giving in! :rotfl: its so muvh easier i can leave the room without every 2 seconds rolling him back over

Woohoo well done Otis, that didn't take long to remember did it?

Tina I am so glad gabriella has her mitts off, I presume her eczema is better then? Perhaps she is now soothing herself with her thumb rather than scratching her head?

Lol at Alfie waiting to be turned! Forget rolling over Leorah has decided she prefers to roll up! Its unbelieveable, she can nearly roll up to sitting position from lying down using just her tummy! I wish I could say that she has inherited my abs of steel but sadly I can't :rotfl:

Katt you must take a pic! What a clever little lady you've got. Otis is now just flip flopping all over the place I've really got to keep an eye on him in case he crashes into anything - i.e. tv stand!
Little monkey seems to have come down with a bit of a cold (unless he's teething  ). Last week Thursday he had a temp and was snotty, think he may have picked something during his swimming lesson on Wednesday  ! Thought he was getting better as his temp was back to normal by Friday but he's still a bit snotty and tonight he had a slight temp again :? .
I hope his nose clears up soon, fortunately it hasn't affected his sleeping as he now is sleeping though till around 6am with one DF at 11ish - sleep glorious sleep!!!!
Steph I've told my OH what you mentoin re letting Otis get on with rolling over so he can learn for himself as initially he kept going to help him  ! Even now Otis does whinge occassionally when he's on his tummy but I just leave him to it and sure enough he'll roll back over onto his back - silly sausage

Oh poor Otis :( It's horrible when they pick these things up but at least he's sleeping well. Leorah woke at 3.30am last night and chatted very loudly for an hour and then called for me and had obviously worked up a huge appetite and fed from both sides  This then meant she couldn't eb bothered to take her morning feed and wanted to watch some boring politician on breakfast TV instead

 I think we have a pic I will load the camera up though I hope people won't start getting annoyed as I keep posting pics at the mo' cos Leorah is growing so fast I don't want to miss anything. She almost rolled the whole way up in front of my mate yesterday and she thought it was hilarious and that Leorah will be a pilates instructor (as well as a fashion deigner for Mummy and playing for Arsenal ladies for daddy  ) Leorah has started rolling to the side again but not on her tummy and I don't think she will though she will watch TV on her tummy (bad mother  )

I hope Otis starts to feel better soon
