Yeah finally...

got off mi arse and have booked Oats and mi in for a baby massage course (3 days), a signing course and hopefully swimming lessons all due to start in January. Thought I would go nuts otherwise as we moved a month before my due date to a new area so not only do I know no one but I know no where to go either! And now I have somethings to look forward to in the new year, there is also another class Oats and I will be going to later in the year as Otis needs to be 6months before he can attend! I'm just not going to know what to do with myself I'll be soooo busy!!!!
By the way anyone else doing swimming lessons with their little ones?

yep, in 8 weeks ill take alfie once a week, cant wait , awwwwwwwww little swimming trunks, just one prob, he'll scream to high heaven when i take him out the water, hes a right water baby

Cool it's a pity we don't live in the same area! About the swimming tunks front... what exactly do they wear, I've got a hand mi down pair of swimmimg pant from my nephew, they're fabric on the outside and plastic on the inside what else should he be wearing?
I hope Oats enjoys it, he likes his evening baths, like Alfie he hates gettting out - to cold I guss, I'll just have to get one huge towel to wrap him up in!

I haven't been doing lessons but we started going swimming 3 weeks ago and now go every week. Isabelle loves it and we go with someone we met through doing baby massage who has a 6 month old boy who is gorgeous (Isabelle's boyfriend!). Baby massage was excellent and i'd really recommend it to people. we're lucky round here as its free and run by the HV's/HVA's and its a six week course. Met some lovely people there.

Re swimming trunks - I got the smallest swim nappies I could find (boots own and they said they were from 15lb but they fitted Isabelle great and she was only 12lb ish) and now she wears a cute little pink swimming costume over the top that I got yesterday. Mothercare have got trunks in at the moment too.
