My baby is finally feeding without nipple shields! Its taken a while, but we got there! Just wanted to share as i'm really pleased

How did you convert?? We're still using them at months!!

Why were you using them. G couldnt latch at all at first. Xxx

I started using them as he just wouldn't latch on, i've been trying for the last few days but today he just latched on!
I'd say just keep on trying

How old is your LO?? Did you try every feed without?? G seems like she's routing around like crazy if I don't have it on. Xxx

He is just over a month old, I didn't try every feed, but most. My midwife told me to really push his head onto my nipple as soon as his mouth was open and after a few attempts it worked.
I probably won't be so excited when I have cracked nipples tho!

We tried the pushing head thing at the beginning, but it just got her really angry. G's nearly 3months now, so might be hard for her to learn a new latch.
