Just back from 40wk midwife and had my sweep, was expecting her to say I was no where near ready but she said my cervix was very thin and already 2-3cm eeek! She said shouldn't be long now, as for sweep, owch is all I will say! She said could feel top of babies head too!

Trying not to get too excited incase nothing happens but she seemed pretty confident I wouldn't be kept eaiting too long! Told me to go for long walk and scrub the stairs haha!

TOR - havnt been feeling any different really I would say a few mild cramps but nothing much so there is hope

Had a bit of bleeding since coming home but it was a bit of a blood bath when she done the sweep too and she said to expect more!

Coolbeans, I feel the same, its been such a long 9 months we have all had together and now we are all nearly there! Soon we can find out what our yellow babies are! Eeek

Wow nurse, hope you don't have to wait too long!! I can't believe you are 40 weeks! I remember we had a chat about weight gain, I think you were about 28 weeks and I was 20, doesn't seem 5 minutes ago!!! Scary and exciting!! Good luck xx
