yay!!! after months of begging DH hes finally rung up for me & we're getting it fitted on tues next week

had to pay £130 all together though, we couldn't get it for free like some of you lucky girls did a while back! oh well, can';t wait!!!!

any tips?

I love my sky +, i record all my soaps its great

I dont mind paying for the box and installation but do your monthly payments go up too?

no the monthly payments are still the same Kirsty, we pay £42 a month for the full package, but don't have multi room which is an extra £10 per month, i don't want that coz my kids would never leave the house

I got it about weeks ago it ROCKS

I can have a bath whenever I like not after my fav shows.
no more rushing the kids to bed to avoid the watershed.
I can watch my fav shows in the daytime while doing the ironing*

We had the full package for £42 but not long ago we cancelled the movies and stuff cos they were repeated ALL the time, now we only pay £18 a month and still have all the channels we want

I cant wait to get it, sounds like its a life saver when you've got kids

yes i think the movies are all crap anyway, never really anyhing good on, plus i can't sit still long enough to watch a whole film.
but with Sky + i can pause it & get up & do something else

ha ha, yeh us too!! the other night there was 3 things on at the same time that i would have watched & then the next night....nothing!!! so i can record one or even two & watch them when theres nothing on

You can get a *cough*illegal*cough* box that lets you have ALL the channels, including all the box office events and pay-per view movies.

my brother has one, we're gonna get one soon, you can get em on ebay.

im not that fussed for all the channels, dont watch sport and movies always repeated, plus we have all the new movies out. so rather just have soaps and baby shows hehe
