Iam have no idea what to get Alastair for xmas he is only going to be 3 months??

Does anyone have any idea?? all the toys seem to be 6 +

Personally I'd get the 6+ toys anyway, 3 months is nothing and they'll be perfectly safe for him, it's just developmentally he'll enjoy them more in a few months.

how about some dvd's? he will be more interested when he is older but Ella used to watch cinderella at 2 months old lol. We have got Ella the wiggles on dvd she saw a clip once and loved them she loves to dance!

Lydia was 3 months exactly on Christmas day last Christmas - this is what we bought her:

Honestly though, she didn't get much use out of it until she was sitting up on her own, even though it's suitable from birth.

Now though she loves it.

Sorry that doesn't help you very much. How about erm....a small cuddly toy and a box of jingly rattles or something.

Ooh I tell you what we got Lydia when she was 4 months old, this triangle thinggy from the Early Learning Centre. I've just looked on their website and I can't find it, but this is a pic of Lydia when she was 5 months old playing with it:

She loved it!

Maybe something like that?

ETA: I think that triangle was 4 months + but I can't see that it would be dreadful for a 3 month old to use it.
