ok well i've sat out this long month and as of next wednesday we are in the last wk in november... so up go the lights
cant wait any longer

anyone fancy joining me and having a lights on day?

Ever since we were little we always put up our decorations on the 13th, 12 days befreo xmas, and then took them down 12 days after. Still keep this tradition up!

Hi what a great idea. but unfortunatly i am not allowed untill the 2 nd of december as my oh's birthday is on the 1st, and he has put his foot down and said that he is not celerbrrating his b/day with xmas decs up bar hum bug.. x

i was all excited to get a tree and put it up but OH has also said 1st dec at the earliest..lol nah humbug men eh!!

think we will do it on the 12th as usual, haydens too young to understand anyway!

My birthday's 17th December, we never used to put decorations up until 18th because my mum was worried I'd feel overshadowed. Not really bothered now I'm a bit older, but I appreciated it at the time.

I'm moving house at Christmas so no decorations at all for me this year
