Would you do this!?

Bit late for me
Plus I wonder how those women would approach the subject when they found "mr right"
"oh I froze my eggs for you"?!?!?!

I still believe that there is a reason why we can only reproduce between a certain age.Mr right never exists and a carier is nice but how far are you willing to go? I personally think that an pregnancy over 40 (not conceived the natural way) is a big no go. You just don't have the energy then that you have when you are for example 25 or 30. I still want to be 'young(ish) when my children are grown up.

Everyone must do whatever they want but I would only freeze eggs to help other get pregnant (who have fertility issues or so) not just because I want to delay having a baby.

I'm not sure on this one.. I personally wouldn't, but I was watching GMTV a few weeks ago and a lady was on explaining why she had her eggs froze and I completely understood and respected why she did it.. I don't think it's wrong, just not for me xx

Personally, no. I probably sound selfish but I wouldn't do it to help someone with fertility problems either as I'd feel strange knowing someone could have a child that is biologically mine plus what if DD or Seb met this child as an adult, not knowing that they were in fact half brother or sister, fell in love, married and had kids? Sorry bit of a ramble there! I also believe that there is a reason to why we lose the ability to reproduce at a certain age. It's personal choice but definatly 100% not for me! Plus as someone else said-how do you tell the fella 'I froze my eggs for you'?! Not really dinner table conversation! Lol. And I agree with HelenJ-Mr.Right doesn't exist!

Not sure either, what if they find "Mr Right" at 60 - would they still go ahead with it? x

I think it should be there and available to those that want to , like with family history of very early Menopause, I had a male friend who had one child , get tesicular cancer and they frose his sperm, as they wanted another, incase the chemo killed of his sperm. He recovered really quicky and his real new sperm were called on when required a year later!

I wouldn't do it myself, I am 37 in 3 weeks time , so pushing the body clock myself a little, wouldn't want to do it much later tho, wish I had had these feelings about one more baby a few years ago too
