Someone else will be able to explain better than me im sure but as far as im aware certain cough medicines have an ingredient in them that increases CM around the time of ovulation, then the lickle spermies can find their way to where they need to go easier!

guaifenesin. its an ingredient found in some cough medicines, i used the childrens benylin and look where i am now! trick is to take it a week up to ovulation, it thins the cervical mucus (as it does with the mucus from the cough so that it can be got rid of better hence curing the cough) lets the spermies through easier so they dont have such a struggle on!

i used asda's own cheap cough syrup, and first month using it after a year trying i got my bfp and as you can see am nearly at the end of the pregnancy now

grace was right its the guafienensen (sp?) that has to be the main ingredient, and you take a spoon ful 4 times a day 5 days before ov and then for a couple of days after certainoy worked for a lot of ladies on here

I tried this last time I was TTC and it nearly made me sick. The only brand I could find that contained the ingredient was vile and made me gag so that was a no-hoper! But I believe 'Becks again' also got her BFP after taking magic medicine so its worth a go if you can tolerate it!

I tries this too, and it gave me a rotten chesty cough with a high temp and everything lol

I didnt take it long enough to notice any CM change but its worth a try!

I tried Wilkinsons own brand at about 80p, it tastes bloody horrible but I do have more CM, watery though not egg white. And it makes my foo smell like burning rubber lol.

i think preseed is much better and makes bding fantastic aswell !
