Hi girls...

Just this morning, I woke at 3 30 am for my usual trip to the loo. It is usually around 5, I could almost set my clock by it, but this morning my bladder felt so full I was in pain. I relieved myself and went back to bed but started to feel menstrual like cramps and tightening around my bump... after about a half hour of this (during which I checked for bleeding, I was so convinced it felt like a period starting), the pain became localised in my left lower back around the kidney area and radiating to my left groin in around the edges of my bump.

I've had back pain on the left side earlier in the first tri but doc said all was well, probably just ligaments. But this didn't feel like ligaments, it wasn't really severe, just there. AND my urine was tested on Monday and all was well. As a matter of fact my urine has been tested about three times in the last month because I thought I might have a UTI - feeling tired, pain in back, I'm prone to them etc.

OH and I discussed it in his half asleep state and I could feel baby move and there was no bleeding so we decided to try to get some sleep and did. This morning, there is no pain, no discharge, plenty of urine and I feel hungry if a little tired.

So what the? Kidney infection? Kidney stones? Just weird pregnancy stuff? Will tell obstetrician when I go for scan on 15th, if I don't get it again by then. If I do, I'm going straight to the doctor...
