Great... Other half has what looks to be shingles!
We have to go to NHS 24 at .... 2am!!!
They reused to let us cancel as I'm so far gone, what a pest and worry.
Can't believe we called at 4pm to be told 2am , uhhhh

I know I called back to cancel and said he would be aswell going to his gp tomorrow, and got told they were refusing to cancel because I'm pregnant . Bugger!

That is a pain! Why are they so worried though hun? Have you not had chicken pox before? We've had 2 outbreaks in my school/ class during my pregnancy - after the first I had a blood test to confirm I'd already had it - (which I had) so carried on going to work as usual. You can't catch shingles from shingles, only chicken pox (if you've never had it before) xxx

Thank you ladies, yeah it's definately shingles. I should be ok because I had chicken pox when I was little just got to see my midwife for a blood check make sure I'm not carrying the virus.
Yeah I work children so I know the usual story, hopefully DD doesn't catch it, 3 more shifts at work to go
