Worried it's back...cyst number 4

Hey all if anyone has it does suffer with cysts hopefully I can help me out a little.

My period currently is 2 days late. Been going to the toilet a lot dull ache in my left side and obviously no period. Done tests yesterday and today and bfn.

So...I only have the one ovary. The other removed along with its Fallopian tube about 3 years ago when cyst was size of grapefruit and twisted. Sirry tmi

Don't know what to think really....just going to panic mode really...

Aw, please dont panic. Have you been ttc this month? If so, theres still a chance you're pregnant and its just a shy BFP. If not, your AF may just be being a bit cruel this month and you ovulated a bit late. Dont worry much about the pain unless it gets really bad. I get lots of ovary-related and terrible AF pain but have had an ultrasound which showed no sign of cysts. You were very unlucky last time having a large cyst and it doesnt mean the same thing will have happened. Just make an appointment at the doctor and explain that you're very worried because of your past experience so you'd like a scan asap to put your mind at ease.

If it gets really bad i'd go straight to A&E instead of a walk-in centre or an emergency appt at the doctors, but thats just from my own experience of my GP refusing me tests and worrying myself half to death. Your doctor is probably better than mine!

PS. One ovary is more than enough to conceive, it just might take a bit longer

thank you so very much for your response, i really appreciate another perspective.

i have been trying not to worry, i honestly dont think i have had a late period in years and years, even after surgeries etc...

i will just keep on hoping i guess, it is such an annoyance though, i have no symptoms of anything!
sore bbs that i did have has all but gone, guess i wil wait a few days and try again...
