worried about pain (again!)

grrrrrr!

ive been getting awful pain on and off for the last few days.
its in my kidney area and near my hips too. really sharp pain.

its worse than before so i am worrying a lot.

no blood or anything though, which is good.

help/reassurance would be great!

Hiya, I kept getting a pain in my kidney area too and have been told it could be a water infection that,s a bit further up. I drank lots of water to help flush it out and by the time the doc tested me it had cleared up on it,s own. It may just be growing pains, but if your worried then ring your mw and put your mind at rest.

i had a kidney infection/possible kidney stones before i found out i was pregnant, they were going to do some tests, but then found out about being preggers and everyone kind of forgot about it!!!
i should be getting some tests for my unusually frequent UTI's too, but havnt heard anything.
i ended up in a&e for these a few times because i was vomiting with it too.

do you think its worth seeing a gp? he wanted to see me soon anyway to check how things are going.
usually, my plan is, ignore it, it will go away! which is fine if its just you to think of!! lol

i think u should really go see your gp a uti leading to a kidney infection can be quite bothersome in pregnancy ( i ended up in hosp for a week when i was preg with my first son due to one) so deffo go get it checked out and get those scans done for kidney issues because kidney health is extra important in pregnancy and will change the kind of care u and baby need if there is an issue.

definitely just sounds like a kidney infection to me. ive had one before and i know how uncomfortable it can feel.
from what i hear growing pains and severe pains (possible miscarriage) occur in your low stomach front area. so sounds to me like it is just your kidney and that your lil baba is doing just fine at the front!

cranberry juice is supposed to work wonders for kidney infections, drink lots of that x
