I hate my job - i hate the boss! Hes just been a complete prick to me....then called me over to his office and asked 'what my problem is, why when he speaks to me do i look like i want to top myself' c**t!!!!!!!! Well maybe if he had a wanker as a boss that didnt know what they were doing having a go at him hed understand!
I cant afford to start maternity now so id have to get signed off with something not pregnancy related. And to try and move my maternity - after my 28days notice id only be able to leave like 4days earlier. Not really worth it i dont think xxxx

Sorry hes a dick
Hopefully not much longer and you wont need to see him for a while x

That's so unprofessional!!! What if you were feeling suicidal?!? It's just massively unprofessional to say something like that to a work colleague - hope you told him so. What did you say when he asked you that?! Can you complain to HR? Has he always been a twat or has it changed since you were pregnant? I would actually go back to him and say upon reflection, you're actually hugely offended with how he spoke to you and you expect more respect from co-workers and could he refrain from making outrageously unprofessional statements in future? That's disgraceful. I wouldn't tolerate it - no way - if I wouldn't take it from friends/family then I certainly wouldn't take it from my boss. Take it higher if you have to. As a manager if he has a problem, he should be able to raise it with you and address the problem in a professional and courteous manner. If he cannot do that, then perhaps you suggest some training to HR as he clearly needs to brush up on his communication skills (and general attitude).

Agree with the above! This is outrageous and shouldn't be left like this! x

My company is messed up..... my boss is the director and my HR is another director so if i complain he gets told anyway! :( cannot wait to get out of here....and dont worry i am not returning! Xxxx

But he SHOULD get told if you complain!!! That's how he will be made to see how wrong it was to speak to you the way he did. Aaaarrrghhh. I realise it doesn't always work like this and perhaps if you're not going back you can bite your tongue and focus on the end. But my GOD I would get the absolute rage if a work colleague spoke to me like this. It's despicable.

I was going to say, what ignorance from a boss. What if you did feel vulnerable and was having a bad day? Can you take it to hr if you feel that uncomfortable?

Like I said hon: put his opinions in you designer bag of fuck you, and beat him round the head with it.

Chin up, chica, not long now xx

I'd just get signed off with work related stress. They can't start your leave any earlier Hun. Not worth you getting yourself stressed and dealing with people like this xxx
