Wooo hoo compensation from edf!

ages ago i posted that i didnt have any gas due to a probelm in our village. well it was off for about 20/22 hours and i though typical, if it had been 24hrs i would have got compensation.

well got a letter today saying that as our gas was off for over 24hrs we would get a £30 cheque in the next two weeks

i'm not telling them it wasnt quite 24hrs it was a total pain in wotsit - had to have chinese for dinner so that covers that at least!

Yay! I love it when that happens.

We're on a water meter & there was a burst pipe at the end of our road a while back. Water came back on after 2 hours but we had to run it for 5 minutes because it was coming out brown - phoned water company & they took £10 off our next bill!

Even when it's not a lot of money it's nice feeling.

I would have a chinese, lurvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve chinese food. I want some now but DH won't let me after our mamouth shop yesterday!!
