my dad brought me a blender yesterday :cheer:

ive wanted one for ages.

id like some ideas for some soups i could make. as some of you know i dont like fruit n veg which =very unhealthy.

i dont have many ingredients yet. im planning on getting more.

so far i just have potato, carrots and sweed.

id like to make a soup. any recipes which include what i have? lol

also recipes for smoothies would be great.

ease me in gently, as i dont want to over do it to soon and hate my creations.

some things i hate are:
onions (with a passion)
leek

so if those could be discluded that would be fab :D
 
:rotfl: :rotfl: you can bet your backside that blender will be used for all your bubs's pureed foods now (if you are going to make your own)
 
My hubby used to make strawberry milkshakes.

He just put in loads of strawberries, and ice-cold milk, and sugar. Lots of sugar.
The sugar part is really bad but it used to taste sooo yummy lol.
 
mashed carrots and parsnips all mixed up with a dollop of butter mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I dont have any suggestions but glad you got your blender.
I used to borrow our neighbours to make Kiaras baby food weekly and my mom got me one for christmas since ive always wanted one and i aint used it once . :? Happy blending :)

aw isnt it always the way saulino lol.

i need to try things which wont be completely obviously veg. as i want to ease myself in gently. otherwise i will hate it and not want to do it again lol.

i cant wait to make some smoothies. but i really need to make some veg things too.

strawberries, banana and some natural yoghurt= tasty smoothie- its what I'm having for breakfast :D

boil up your 3 carrots, two potatoes and a bit of swede and 4 oz lentils, onion with two pints of stock (veggie or chicken). When everything is cooked blend it all up. Oh and don't forget the salt and pepper to taste!

hey presto! you have a soup.

you can make it less thick by adding more water at the end. Add boiling water not cold though.

ANYTHING will make a soup! just boil it up and go!
