I've been getting noticable bh's for about the last 2 weeks but only late at night (several days apart) lasting 30-40mins and not painful....so not exactly regular. I have also been moping around feeling sorry for myself the last 2 weeks as well because I've been in pretty much constant but bareable pain during the day and woken up during the nights about 2-3 times on average with really noticable tummy and pelvic pains :shakehead:

Well the last 2days I've been in so much pain I've had to give in and take paracetomol (I've been stubborn the whole pregnancy about taking them cause I hate the taste of them and I just don;t like the thought of taking anything while bumpy's there - even though the doctors say it's safe  ) and I've even woken up in the night on the verge of tears when it's worn off and had to drag my sorry ass out of bed to get some more
I've also been having a lot of braxton hicks (several times a day) lasting between 20mins and 1hr sessions, some painful but most just uncomfortable and a mixture of short and long ones :?
I've also got a sore swollen chest and ribs (new bra even digs in), lots of tummy and pelvic pain, back ache, sickness and generally a bit lethargic. It does ebb off for a few hours but then comes back about as strong as before.

I did sit in the shower for about an hour yesterday which seemed to help for a few hours.

Anyway I gave up and rang the ward earlier this morning who said it could be early labour even though my waters and plug haven't gone yet and to just keep and eye on it and ring back if there's any change (the pain when the paracetomol wore off was particularly bad :( )

I decided to go for a potter around town while hubby got his hair cut. What I expected to be a 25min appointment lasted 1hr 10mins! I got some strong bh's whilst walking around town that were again a bit painful and bumpy was definately lodged at least partly in my pelvis with his back on my tummy :D
But ever since we got home things have been quiet expect for a small batch of non painful bh's.

I'm now getting back and pelvis pain again which is gradually building up so will prob be on the paracetomol again this evening.

Here's wishing that he makes an appearence this week
I'll be gutted if I'm talking about having an induction in another 4 weeks :wall: :rotfl:

I hope it all happens soon for you, its horrible when we are suffering and dont seem to be getting anywhere so fingers crossed for you

That sounds promising hun. It's so frustrating when things keep coming and going. I am getting back pain and tummy tightenings but nothing as regular as you.

Really hope something happens soon.

I'm 38+1 and getting BH all the time but just makes me uncomfortable. Biggest problem is walking for any length of time because I seem to have a trapped nerve at the top of right leg... most of the time OK but sometimes takes my breath away and gives me an interesting walk... getting some funny looks  Didn't think I'd put that much weight on and it's all on da bump but it's made me really imbalanced. 2 weeks to go but every ache & pain makes me think here we go :D

Also hope I'm not going on about induction in 4 weeks time!!

Had that trapped nerve thing for weeks now :rotfl: gone from just my right groin/thigh area to both legs

I didn't really expect owt to happen immediately but I do have my fingers crossed he'll pop out in about a week (so still a teeny bit early  :D ). He's been very quiet since I went to bed last night.....too quiet actually  He normally shuffles and kicks like a little monster but I think I've only just had my 10 daily movements a few minutes ago. Normally he'll prod and kick several times in each sitting but today it's just been the ones small shuffle and then nothing for hours :? And he's managed to 'pop out' again over night :wall: he was quite low in my pelvis still yesterday - but this seems to be his favourite game lol.

No bh's since going to bed last night either...and they were really strong and reassuring

I have midwife appointment anyway for 11am tomorrow so I will wait and see what she says about his heart beat etc.
If I get worried over night I'll pop to the hopsital. I'm thinking he's probably just a bit tired and storing his energy :shhh:

I'm sure that's what he's doing. Hopefully you won't have much longer to wait.

Just woke up, been asleep for 2hrs coz I'm exaughsted

Well she's measured him at just touching 35wks when I'm 38wks. As he measured small (34wks when he was 36wks) last time I visited as well she has booked me a check up at the hospital next wednesday and then just my normal 40wk appointment with her. She says she's only doing it as routine because it could probably just be the way he's lying or he could put on a real growth spurt and catch up again over the next week. She doesn't think there's anything untoward after I told her about the pains/movement (she actually smiled and looked a bit excited that I'd been in pain with regular bh's for 2 days   ) and she checked my BP and his heartbeat etc and all was still normal :)

He's head down, toes up like a good little boy but 'free' from my pevis again

At least I may get another sneeky peak of him if he's not arrived by wed
He's been shuffling and pushing down a lot more again this morning and at the moment my ribs, back and tummy are REALLY sore

Hope you ladies are all ok

you sound exactly like me hun.....constantly uncomfortable, really noticeable BH's particularly at night and absolutely no sleep!! although mine's because I'm in so much pain from carpal tunnel syndrome.

The thought of it carrying on for another 4 weeks is horrid

I've been taking my raspberry leaf tea tablets and eating my pineapple and going for long walks and I've even tried sex!!!!! the only thing I've not done so far is the curry which I'm saving for the weekend

I know everyone says that we should enjoy these last few weeks but honestly... I would prefer to have a screaming baby at the minute than to put up with the constant pain any more.

fingers crossed these babies will be out of us soon
