wind!

Over the last few days i've been getting really bad Wind.. LOL.
No matter what i eat... and it is getting painful at times....... any solutions????
 
I've had this for ages (I had IBS before I got pregnant). Drinking lots of water helps a bit, as does avoiding windy foods (beans, too much bread, onions etc). I found, when I was first diagnosed (it's got better since, mercifully) that about the only carbohydrate I could cope with was rice (and it had to be brown rice).
 
This may not apply but when i had an appendix op done i got severe wind and cramping afterwards.
 
LOL - I've still got bad wind!! Thought it might have eased by now, but no chance!
 
i think my wind coming up different way , im suffering so bad with hiccups :roll:
 
Have you tried charcoal tablets/capsules Gruntie? They're really good for absorbing excess gas and don't get absorbed by your body so totally safe in pregnancy. Holland & Barrett sell them, and pretty sure Boots do too. I find taking a couple after every meal helps. Poor you, know how painful it can be :hug:
