I've just put Jake to bed wearing a short sleeved vest and swaddled in a flannelette sheet. My monitor is showing the bedroom is currently 26 degrees. I've got all the windows open and a fan on. Should I remove the sheet and let him sleep with nothing but his vest on?

I think he'll be ok Hun, Tegans room is 25 and she's in a vest and 1 tog sleeping bag with a window open x

sound sok-they all react differently to heat though, owen is in just pjs no vest underneath, they are cottona nd long sleeved. No sleeping bag, his room is 26 but window closed as quite noisy with itopen and may wake him! hope it doesnt get too stuffy in there, might have to open it later...

Islas room is 27! Shes in a vest and 1 tog sleepbag with the windows open. She didn't even wake last night. So I'm sure lo will be fine :) x

I don't know the temp of los room but i cant go in there without dying so shes naked with just a muslin on her but is currently outside on a walk with my parents x

Hey josh is currently in 27 degree room with a baby grow on and thats it plus a fan and window open...... hes sleeping ok but quite hot to touch hence nothing covering him etc.....i echo what the other girls have said really, all babies react differently keep an eye on him but he should be fine etc....
X

the last 2 nights my lo has slept in just a nappy & like a short sleeve t-shirt vest he was so hot. i kept waking in the night to check him but its been that sweatyhot! he was perfectly fine. today seems a little cooler though so i'll play it by ear!

Campbell has slept the last two night in just a vest. No blankets. The room was 26 degrees both nights. I just think I would rather him be cold than hot and I dont want him overheating! x

Ella has spent the last two nights in short sleeved an short legged baby grows if that's what they are called - it's been about 25 degrees with the window open ad she hasn't felt at all cold in that x

I would def do the same as the ladies have said.
Im just happy that my house always stays at around 18-20 degrees even if its boiling outside . One less thing for me to worry about lol

My LO's room is 24 deg atm last night it was 24 and I put him in a short sleeve vest and a sleep suit but when I checked on him at 1am his chest and back of neck were cold, I put a sleeping bag on him, without waking him much to my amazement and will probably just do the same tonight if I check him and the same happens, he is wearing the same tonight and so far has not felt cold but I am not sure what to do.

Do your LO's ever seem unresponsive when they feel cool to the touch? that was Alfie last night
