Wide awake. This sucks! Anyone else?

AF due new years eve/day. Tested xmas day and BFN so that is what I expect! Will arrive I think so no need to test again.

Have been pretty bad this month so don't deserve a BFP I suppose

Crossing fingers for the new year though!

what do you mean you've been bad?

i've had an emotional day today, its been really weird! we scattered the ashes of our friend today, we planted a sycamore tree in a public park in london, its beautiful and his ashes were laid beneath the tree.

he had been with his partner for a few years before he passed and when he was going in for chemo they froze his sperm. he signed and agreed for his partner to use his sperm with ivf after he passed away if she wished to! she is 32 at the moment and has decided that if she is still on her own at 35 (which she expects to be) she is going to use it. i totally get her doing this but some people seem to think its not right - each to their own though right?

at the end of the day we went to visit some friends who have an adorable 11 month old. my OH loved him and all the way home he kept going on about how much he wants a baby, the most he has ever said about it - i really hope 2011 is our year! feeling quite emotional about it all this evening!

not sure where that all came from but i thought, as you are awake i'd tell you about my day

Sounds like a very emotional day you've had hun, but a lovely idea to plant a tree. I think your friends oh sounds very brave. I can't begin to imagine how hard it must be for her. Xxx I hope you're ok.

Excuse my typing am now in bed lying next to the delightful tones of oh's snoring!

I've had a few drinks this month and the odd cheeky cig on nights out which was pretty stupid! I don't usually drink at all really and gave up smoking so that's why it's not deserved! Am going to detox in NY completely! Feel bad even admitting it!

That's lovely the ivf idea - brave too.

Awww no don't be silly that's just living your life chick! You have to get on with things and be you - it helps you relax too and as we all know being relaxed is good for TTC

I'm feeling like I'm silly for getting my hopes up cos it's probably a stupid evap but also feeling like I could be preg. Bit of a head**** this TTC lark isn't it? Def testing in the morn but scared of being gutted all over again. Xxx

Relaxing is a good thing! I have been taking a few drinks myself this month and have been enjoying it. It's difficult to stay sober and never drink...at least when you doesn't get pregnant as fast as you thought. My breasts have increased a lot this month so if I'm not pregnant, I hope they stay as they are now. I'm really happy with them
