My Dh is 3 and he asks why ALL the time, it's driving me mad. I like to try and answer him so he learns but its nipping my head now somethinng chronic. He must have asked WHY? 1000's of times today. :wall:

I know it's probs a phase but I'm sure it was ment to start a lot later than 3 :wall:

awww bless him, i've got a 5 yr old like this!
if you think about it though, hes inquisitive & how do kids learn about the world around them? from asking us questions of course!

just grin & bear it & answer him & he may get fed up soon

or simply say now & again to him........go & ask Daddy :rotfl:

my brother is 5 now but when he was yonger i had it allll the time
"why is the sky blue" etc etc in the end i used to say "because i said so"

its a cute stage

i love the why stage, ella is asking it alot now, its hard work but to see that you are teaching them things makes it all worth while

Cherie,
Just you wait til you've got him.....

But mine's full of ironing. :(

I'd still put him in if I thought he could do it...

aww sweet - you could ask him "why do you think it is?" and see what he comes up with, it will make the phase more amusing I guarantee, plus it teaches them to think for themselves

I'm guessing you meant DS!!

:rotfl:
I did although it is debatable sometimes!!

Thanks guys I've tried most of your suggestions throughout today...it has made it almost bearable.

What's really funny is how much it annoys Robin
