That babies say Da da da da first?!? He only hits at Ma when he's crying. We also get Do do do and be be be oh and a bit of zzzzzz added for variety lol. He's only 6 months so i don't think he realised he's shouting of daddy but when did your LO's say Ma ma ma? xx
 
Babies dont start to form words properly until about 10 months, so I would take anything before that as noise, and them learning to use their vocal cords. Still have time to teach him MaMa :lol:
 
Hebe said Dada ages before Mama....in fact she rarely says mama still! I cant remember when she said it....the first noise she repeated was bababa then that changed to dadada....
