Call it morning sickness, when you feel sick all the time i started feeling sick from yesterday tea time was sick just before bed and felt sick from the moment i woke up this morning... wishing i never came into work this morning just want to go back to bed.

I know the feeling!

I feel like i have the worst hangover ever. And now i have to go for a meeting with someone about some stupid part of my job that is really important but i dont give a crap about at the moment.

Arrrgghh!

Awww hope you both feel better soon!

It does get better you know, my sickness calmed down from about week 8 and the majority of women by around week 12.

Know at the mo it feels like forever but believe me, it will soon pass :D

i had a really bad day yesterday, sickness the whole day, went to bed 3 times and was back in bed by 8 and only then started to feel better, thought i was ok this morning but its back again with avengance :puke: (still havent actually been sick though) lets hope we all start to feel better soon girls

I feel for you Mum's who work, but I am glad that don't have to. I was so bad with morning sickness.

Why is it called morning sickness? Well I only have this pregnancy to go off, but I tink it feels worse in the mornings, and I was MOSTLY sick in the mornings to. I could just about tolerate food at midday.

How many of us are actually suffering from morning sickness? I get waves of nausea throughout the day but have never actually been sick, it was the same with my last pregnancy.

Hope everyone whos suffering with it feels better soon!! :)

Hello

I guess I'm one of the 'lucky' ones as nothing so far. Felt totally yucky from about weeks 7 to week 16 last time. Indeed I wondered myself why they had the gall to call it morning sickness when for me it pretty much started when I got up and ended when I went to bed, with some light relief only during the times I was eating (hence the majority of my weight gain occured during the 1st trimester  !!

I must admit even though the nausea is horrible, there is comfort in knowing my body is producing the hormones it needs to sustain the pregnancy. I recall the days where the nausea 'disappeared' I used to panic - in fact I bet if I looked back to my posts in March/April 2005 there may well be a panicky thread saying 'symptoms have disappeared - what does this mean???!!

Hope it gets better soon

LBxx

I haven't physically been sick. And i'm praying i don't but i do constantly feel like i have got a hangover sickness. A bit dizzy and spaced out!

But i've just eaten my lunch and feel a bit better!

All the advice you read is for "morning Sickness" so am guessing it is most common in the morning...mine still keeps raging :puke: I have lost weight in the first trimester as i throw up half what i eat.

i am raging nausea and gag all the way to work and all the way home, thinking its the motion of the bus and walking that gets me most....that and random smells in work....
i have been bad since week 4 so i am hoping it will calm down soon...bxox

I started at 5 weeks ( three weeks ago) and haven't eaten a full meal yet! I have absolutely no appetite and usually manage to force down some crackers and a couple of strawberries (really fancy them!) and then try and eat something in the evening but it's only a child's portion! I have a feeling it's starting to subside a bit now though...yippeeeeeee!!

I don't envy you girls who are at work though, there is no way I could get through a day without giving away how I feel. The only reason I'm not working is because we've just moved to the States! Good timing 'cos I don't have to work but bad timing as I have no friends or family around me!

I have had nausea, from about 5pm onwards. But no actual sickness.

And its not too bad either.

But yes I get nausea on the drive to work a little as my car is a touch bumpy!

:D

I thought I was going to :puke: all over my steering wheel all the way home last night - the whole freaking 50 minutes! My car is really bumpy too. I've started avoiding drains and dips in the road. I'm sure other people must think I'm a drunk driver! Oh :puke: don't think about being drunk :puke: blurgh

i suffered so bad for a few weeks this time that i couldnt even move without throwing up :( thankfully it all eased off at about 11/12 weeks :D hope your all feeling better soon xxxxxxx
