Why do i always take tests knowing they will be negative

Im 9DPO ..(i think) Had some spotting last night and a tiny bit today. Lots of cramps and lower discomfort. But had these negative results on first response 6 days sooner. IM SO GUTTED!!! why do i do this to my self.

My cervix is high, soft and tilted but i think im out. spent £40 on tests and all negative

We've all been there! The disappointment is really hard to deal with, I had many months of negative tests so I know how you feel.. but your not out yet, your only 9DPO so plenty of time, keeping my FX for you.

I never recorded cervix position as it was different every month and it would always make me get my hopes up... I know everyone says it but it really is best to just take it as it comes, you will feel so much better when you're not recording and scrutinising every little thing.

I really dont know when i ovulated but had sex 10/04/2017 and last night and today has bright red spots in CM. could be 10/11 or 12 DPO, who knows. I think im out and has sex to late anyway but just thought i would see some sort of a line if i was pregnant

ive never had a line at 9dpo hun so you are early. Wait another 2 days and if you are pregnant it should show on a frer! Every month I used to spend loads of tests and eventually gave up. Before started ivf I didn't test at all until around 12dpo with a cheapie so it wasn't a waste! It can send me crazy testing too early. Good luck xx

Im such a wally I bought FRRR instead of FRER and tested today (about 10/11 dpo) so im clinging on to hope that the BFN was because I tested too early as the pack said to test from first day os missed AF. No internet cheapies left so Im holding out for the other test in the pack until the weekend if the witch doesnt arrive. Not wasting money on FRER as they are so expensive!!
Promised myself I wouldn't get impatient but here I am!x

Definitely agree with getting cheap internet tests - I'm addicted to testing aswell as much as I try to stop myself, at least that way not wasting loads of money.

I also made the FRRR/FRER mix up so then had to buy FRER which was still BFN, so £20 later left with 1 test !!

tested again with tesco test. BFN 10 or 11 dpo i think. cervix moving up and down, really really bad back ache and cramps, no more spotting...YET. ugghhh wish there was a faint line

Spotting again now, like a tan/light brown EWCM with a hint of pink.
