I have tried once.. hubby was so worried that he would hit the babies head ( Like yeah your THAT big hunny!!! ) but he is really not into this whole thing.. I may have to get the turkey baster out!

Blimey - it's emotional waiting for us all to pop!

I was thinking...surely there must be some positive power for all of us having our little forum rooting for us whilst we're in labour.

If Uri Gellar can get broken watches/clocks started by talking in a stupid voice and glaring in to a camera then we should be able to minimise labour pains by sending our positive vibes!

Lol! Too true LucyBee! There were about 8 of us all due the same week when Elliott was born and we did a checkin every morning to see who was still here and who was in hospital. The first time I went to the loo after I'd had Elliott I snuck my mobile phone down with me and texted two people off the list who were also due, my OH was instructed to post as soon as he came back from the hospital and he did too (unfortunately with a photo of me 5 mins after finishing a 16 hour labour- dodgy!). In those last few weeks I would have gone crazy without this forum! If I had had a laptop in hospital I would have posted from my bed- I think Dionne actually did that but I might be wrong!

Good luck to you all! My advice is to have lots of sex now, it will bring things on and if your OHs need added motivation remind them it's their last chance for a bit!
