who has taken their decs down?

mine have been down for a few days now. Glad to have my living room back!!! Ive still got to find homes for all the gifts we (errr, Alice ) got, but we are getting there. only one gift left to give out, and then its all done for another year!!


when does everyone else put theirs away?

we usually take ours down before new year but we've been feeling too lazy this year, will probably do it sometime over the weekend

I took mine down today, my real tree was looking a bit sorry for itself (dead!) and I needed into the back cupboard for loads of things (lightbulbs, sealant, mop etc) - a huge storage cupboard, the door of which was being blocked by said tree.

We also needed room for DD's Christmas present - a table and chairs from Ikea.

I've been told that I am not allowed to take them down until Los Tres Reyes come. Or the three kings... I'm not even frigging Catholic either, but as its yet another bloody chance to receive gifts, Tia has informed me that they are to remain put until the 6th of January Grrrr...

Bloody Oh decided he hated the christmas tree and needles boxing day so spent most of the day hoovering the majority of the needles off the tree so we could drag it out the house into the garden without an inch high trail !

Ours came down last night, I was sick of seeing them!!!
I needed the room for Thea's toys! I had to buy new cupboards and bookcases for the livingroom as storage!

would of kept it untill new year but thomas desided after a month of it being up, he was going to attack it
