just wondering how many others think that the first three months go really really slowly! i feel like everyday is going reaqlly really really slowly. i keep reading the same things in magazines about my babies development and about morning sickness etc. i just want to get to my twelve week scan but it seems like its an eternity away. i dont know if its cus we want to get to the 12 week mark to put our minds at ease that does it or its just natures way of being a git. with my first pregnancy the second and third trimesters seemed to go a lot quicker than the first. anyone agree? sorry for the rant!!! xxxxxxx

i dont mind the 2nd trimester cus at least you look pregnant and you get more contact with midwife etc. i just look fat and bloated and spotty and my midwife doesnt want anything do with me until ive had my scan lol. xxxxxx

i thought 1st tri went slow because as you said i wanted to get to the 12wk mark to make sure everything was ok, the 2nd tri for me absoluty flew by and now i am in the 3rd tri it seems to be taking forever i am getting really impatiant now.

Some days I think its taking forever and other days not. When I was about 7 weeks gone I though I'd never get to 12 weeks yet here I am - I shall be moving into T2 in Saturday - can't really believe it and in that sense the first 12 weeks have gone in a blink of an eye.

the third trimester does go even slower and is more uncomfortable. it does seem to fly when you look back but my friend is pregnant and it seem like last week she told me she was pregnant and now shes just had her scan!!! it seems like evry 1 else is gettin there except me LOL!! its probably because of the worry and the fact i just look fat, cant wait for the pregnancy bloom!! xxxxxxx

There is something mentally reassuring getting to the 12 week mark and I really wish it would hurry up or someone tell me I am more gone than I think and that's why I look massive

i found the first 3 months went slowly too. for me it was deffinately a fact of worrying that everything was ok.

i think 2nd tri is going quicker for me, and was suprsed to think 'oh im 18weeks now'

but looking at how long ive got to wait until i move to 3rd, it is taking a while. (bout 3months )



we will soon all be holding our babies thinking, 'wow that went quick' hehe

I agree 1st tri is dragging, although in fairness i didnt know i was preggers with my DD till i was 5 months so this time its REALLY taking ages

I have to say I thought while I was in T1 that it dragged but now I'm thinking "actually those 3 months whizzed past" and now having only been in T2 for a week am thinking this is dragging big style. The sickness and tiredness is over for me, feeling better (normal even??) and thus don't feel so pregnant as I did last Trimester either. I'm just trying to take it a day at a time, enjoy every second I have just me and Pudding before he/she arrives and I have to share him/her.

I am 12 weeks pregnant on Saturday and I agree these past weeks have gone so slowly. I think it maybe because I've been feeling so sick and can't wait to be able to eat something without it returning with a vegance.

I agree. Slowest 9 weeks EVER!!!!!. I've now known for 5 weeks and it feels so much longer. My 12 week scan is 3 weeks tomorrow and that feels like forever to me. Just want to know that baba is OK and heart still beating

Also, I haven't told anyone yet so I'm looking forward to talking about it.

Not to mention getting rid of the sickness and exhaustion.

yes just getting to the 12 week mark was so hard... especially if you've had two miscarriages, you just wan your scan to see your baba there happy and safe
