Which spelling?

Hi everyone,
Now we know we are having another little boy we have gone off the name Ethan. We think now we like Euan but are not sure which spelling to use-Ewan,Ewen or Euan.His middle name is James.
Which one shall we have?
I really like Euan but OH says we should stick to the conventional.

i thought euan was the conventional
we had that as aname and went with that spelling because oh is stUArt as opposed to stEWart, see what i mean.

I like Ewan.

My friend named her son Iwan - same pronunciation. I like that too! (Sorry - don't want to confuse you by throwing another one into the mix..!!)

My cousin spelt her little boys name Ieuan but out of your spelling I think I prefer Ewan as it is the easiest to spell and he hopefully won't be forever spelling his name.

I like Ewan best but tend to prefer names that don't have different spellings so people don't get it wrong. Being called Claire I have had enough of it being spelt Clare or Clair so wouldn't do it to my own child.
