Which is day 1?

Here's one for you!

On which day is your period said to start - the day you feel crampy or the day you bleed?

Just trying to get my cycle sorted.

According to Fertility Friend, it's the "first day of full red flow".
So, the day you actually bleed.

Bleed I would think, craps can b the sign of so many other things, and isn't the blood called the menses?? As in menstruation, so the first day of menstruation (your period) would be the first day you bleed? I think thats right, lol!!

CD1 is when you get the first red flow

I started about 9-10pm on the 28 June so does that still count as Day 1 or should I count 29 June as that would be a full day?

I'd count 29th June as CD1 hun. But thats just me, I may be wrong
