Been ttc for a while now and no luck.
Am just in my fertile window. Seeing my partner tomorrow and all weekend.
We last had sex last Sat (he works away which hasn't been helping us ttc).
Is it best for him to ejaculate today for tomorrow PM or use the old sperm?!
Sorry for TMI but am desperate to give us a good chance of conceiving this month

Get rid of the old stuff. If he has had some 'self service' action then wouldn't be as old but after 5 days or so I think sperm quality reduces xx

I tried that this morning "too tired"
I'm making all the effort with this damn conception. Maybe he doesn't care for a baby.

Sometimes they are more relaxed about it than us. Even after years my OH would annoy me about missing vital days. Maybe try and surprise him later without pressure of it being ovulation time. I stopped telling my OH as made the task impossible sometimes xx

I tried that this morning.
I don't usually tell him when I'm ovulating as it freaks him out a little.
Will be seeing him tomorrow and I'll be juts before ovulation so hope this will clear the dead ones before ovulation at the weekend.
Maybe all this planning is dampening our chances of conception? But with him being away it's hard to have sex without planning :(

My hubby and I agreed not to even use the word 'try' because it just feels like too much pressure. We just said we would stop using contraception in the New Year. So he is pretty relaxed about it. However I dont let on to him anything about Ovulation, EWCM, .e.tc. as I think he would find it all a bit overwhelming!
Around my previous ovulation he maybe figured it out as I was literally jumping his bones lol. I also dressed up a bit, you know to get him in the mood. I have found that as we have been more intimate a lot recently, its also brought us closer and we are having fun with it! x

My fertility doctor said that it's a myth that you have to get rid of old sperm. The body replenishes them regularly.

It's great for those of you who don't have to think about trying... my partner is sometimes called to work away for 3 weeks at a time.
I really wish I could enjoy a normal sex life! But it just isn't going to happen that way for us :(
I know I need to try and chill, but almost a year now of not trying and tracking ovulation has put me on a downer so now I am a little more focused. He'll be having a nice weekend in which I'm not going to tell him I'm fertile as I'm sure that spoils the "romance"

My OH did this too lol. Even though he was just as upset about it all as I was. Men! Lol

Wish my Mrs. Was as into it as much as you ladies! I'm the one that's always on about it, vitamins and fertile Windows and stuff while she is really laid back about it :shakehead:

My OH is the same I don't explain all he details of ovulation etc , infact when I first met him he thought being on your period was your most fertile time....
yea.. so he doesn't really have a clue just that the sperm needs to catch the egg lol!
