Which do you like?

Hi all, me again with the same dilema! We gave four daughters, Amber Ruby Pearl & Sapphire. Baby number five is due in June and we are struggling with a girls name. Our other daughters and insisting we stick with the gem theme and it's really tricky. Not keen on Jade or Coral (the most obvious suggestions) and can only come up with Opal or Olivine. What do you think? Xx

Crystal? Jaida? Azure? Violane? Gemma (means precious stone), Ula (means gem of the sea), Jacinda, Beryl, Sphene, Jewel.

I'm not really keen on either in all honesty, but I do quite like Jade. I like the suggestion of Gemma/Jemma and call them Gem/Jem lol.

I think Opal is very pretty and unique I don't have any other suggestions but what about looking up some gemstone names in other languages?

I like Opal the most but olivine is lovely too and could be Olive for short

I think this has been said before, but they're all names associated with colours too. Perhaps you could find a colour name you like. Like Violet, Scarlett...

I disagree, when I hear any of those names I immediately think of Gems.

Out of the two I like Opal more because it is instantly recognisable as a precious stone.

Topaz is my fave
