which are best?

I'm going to be ttc very soon and was gonna get organised and buy some OPK's and HPT's. Are the cheap internet ones any good just been looking at them. Any good/bad experiences?

I have the ov sticks from the Internet that are really cheap and they are ok as a good starting pt but I've been using the cb digi to confirm I'm about to ovulate when I get a line on the cheapie as you then get a clear smiley face so no line analysis required!

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but i had the cheapest of cheap opks from Ebay, and they were very sensitive ones. I was getting mainly dark(ish) lines right through my cycle but got an obvious positive on CD13 and 14 where the test line was so much darker than control line, so the cheapies worked for me. I backed this up with Asda's own opks (5 in a pack) and they were great too!

i think if you used the cheapies definitely back it up with something else, either another brand or a digi. Alot of the girls swear by digis.

With regard to the hpts, i don't think anyone would recommend the internet cheapies, but they DO work well for some. I buy them to fulfill my addiction of poas! Again for testing I would recommend the FRER or superdrugs own brand xxxxxx

I would stay away from internet cheapies in the hpt sweetie, fake positives on them quite alot! also stay away from.clear blue plus hpt. Invest in evening primrose oil and conceive plus xxx

oh and stay away from predictor HPTs also, I got 2 nasty evaps on them this cycle! Googling revealed that ALOT of people get evaps on them tests, even though they are pink tests and not blue!

Cheapie opk's are ok but as the other girls have said back it up with a cb digi. I'd buy a decent hpt though, cb or frer.
