Just got back from the midwife, and she cant find the babys head!
so on Thursday morning I have to go for a scan to find it, she said it is either well engaged which means not long now but she dos'nt expect it to be with this being my second or it is breach if it is then thay will try to move it around which is verry uncomfterble she said or make a date for a c section! I have felt a lot of presure down their but she said that could be its feet, has anyone els had this?

 Silly dumbo Midwife.... well at least you get another scan lol

The midwife was questioning where my baby's head was on Monday, she said she wasnt convinced it was not a head up in my ribs!!

This isnt good news as LO has had his head well down so far! She put it down on my notes as Ceph with a question mark and said it wasnt a prob at my stage anyhow.

I do hope your scan proves that baby is in the right position and just playing tricks on your midwife

sorry i laughed cab - it just read really funny at first  ''Wheres the head?'' LMAO

My regular midwife is convinced baby head is down, but I think its lying cross ways (traverse I think its called) so she wants to check me next week and maybe scan...I think the baby knows its her,and tries to hide, she is sooooo ruff it makes my eyes water  :rotfl:

Oh no!! My baby is breech also. He has been like this all the time I believe. I haven't got much pressure down below and I don't tend to need the loo all the time like a 'typical' pregnant person so if you are feeling pressure, I reckon the head is just well engaged. Looking forward to hearing the news!

I had this, one of the local midwives in clinic said she didnt know which way round baby was so had to go for a scan. The reason she couldnt feel my baby's head was cos she was so well down that even the sonographer couldnt get measurements, thinks she just wants out to be honest. As for the pressure whenever i sit down or get up quickly i get a stabbing sensation high up inside and then loads of pressure all cos baby is well engaged, hope this helps hun  xxx

Thank you all, I have been getting myself so worried about tomorow as I dont want a C section. If the baby is engaged so far that they cant find the head then why is it moving about so much? I would have thought it would slow it down I am so confused

Just got back now and the babys head is verry engaged, she had trouble finding it and said aww I bet thats uncomfterble it cant wait to get out as well but at least all is ok she showed us the heart beating and everything it was so nice, so worry over I can have a normal birth just hope its sooner rather than later

Great news hun, so you can stop worrying and get your feet up!

thats great!

Means bubba is getting ready! Fingers crossed it will be sooner!

Aww thats great news hun! Looks like your going to beat me to it aswell :cheer:

My baby boy has been very low and head down since I first got scanned at 12 weeks.

I've been lucky to be included in a study which lets me have a scans at 20 weeks, 28 weeks, the next one is due at 34 weeks and then at 40 if I'm still carrying.

At each scan his head has been very low (not exactly engaged because I'm only 30 weeks), so much so that we had trouble getting measurements last time.

I get a lot of movement around my pubic bone (presumably fists!) and quite a bit just below my ribs (feet I'm guessing!).

Just hope that he doesn't decide to upend himself during the next 10 weeks! They don't usually turn at the last minute do they????

Ive been told that it is unlikely mine will turn again, but they can and do.
