Where do you feel movement?

Hi

Had a scan 2 weeks ago and baby was footling breech. I've always had a hard lump under my right hand ribs which is really painful some days and this hasn't impoved so I'm still assuming that is baby's head.

Have always had small movement in pelvis (feet?) and big sweeping movements across the top - middle of my belly (arms)? Today though I can still feel the hard lump under my ribs but the lump seems to be "kicking" really hard!! I can't think what this is, maybe she's frank breech now and her feet are up at her face?

I know no one can give me an answer lol. Just thought it would be interesting to hear what movements you feel and where! x

My little boy is in the head-down ready for birth position already. I went to see the midwife yesterday and asked her to tell me if she knew what position he was in as I was worried he was laying transverse because of where some of the movement was that I could feel. She could tell right away what position he was in - his bum was just slightly off centre from the top of my abdomen and his head was directly above my pelvic bone. I was so shocked to hear that as I honestly thought he was laying transverse but I'm thankful he's not.

Breech position can be so worrying I know, but your little one still has time to turn around and some babies don't fall into birth position right until near the end. My mum was telling me the other day about how my brother was in breech position right until the very end and then thankfully he did a full turn and positioned himself into birth position. I know there are doctors who can try to move the baby into birth position near the end if your little one doesn't turn naturally so try not to worry too much at this stage xx

Oh I'm quite laid back about baby moving and if she doesn't then nevermind, I guess it's better to know your baby is breech than to not and to need an emergency section!

This baby's movements are totally different to my little boys who hiccupped all the time and "shoogled" rather than kicked. In contrast this baby does massive sweeping movements and I've not felt one hiccup! x
