Whens best to have another 4d scan?

My OH loved the 4d scan of our little princess that much he wants me to book another one, ive heard all features are developed by 25 weeks so im thinking of booking one for 18th July. Has anyone had one at 25 weeks before? x x

When I booked mine the scan place told me it's best between 28 and 29 weeks as the baby still has room to move but has also put a bit of weight on so you can get the best pics of the baby.

i was told best at 28 weeks, had one done at 32 wks with myfrst but they were really good still got two book now for this one, one a 24 wks and one at 29 wks.

if u wan an idea of what it wil be like to get the best week types in (however many weeks pregnant u want to look at) 4d scan pictures into google and click on images and you will see what othes have uploaded xx

I had my 4d scan at 32 weeks when pregnant with ewan and got great pics. I heard it was between 28-32 weeks. Think ill have one at about 29-30 weeks this time.

I'll prob have one around 28 weeks, although the place here suggested 24 weeks but we'll be on holiday then and I wanted a gap between 20 week scan and next one, will break it up!

I decided to go for one at around 27 weeks, we will be in Detbyshire and it's much cheaper than London.

I had one with Josie at 29 weeks and got some really lovely pics...

i really wish i'd waited longer with this pregnancy (or had another one like you!) as it seems like so long ago i had that one at 18 weeks now!!!

so as you can see baby has really filled out by 29 weeks - not like a little skinny bean anymore!! aahw wish we could have another one - think it's a bit late now! Would be one big blur!

I done a bit of research a couple of weeks ago and everywhere was saying 24, but i'd imagine any time between 24 and 30 would be best.

We'll defo get one but not decided on when yet. Another few weeks anyway i've got my 20wk scan in 1 week anyway.

I had one at 27 wks with dolly I loved it they give me loads of pic's but couldn't get her full face the lady wasn't happy so said I could go back she said it was up to me when. So I waited till 33wk
And at this one it was just like what she looked liked when she was born little chubby checks and everything, I know it's along time to wait ( and the can't do it much later as the baby gets too big) but when I look at the different pictures there nothing alike the 2nd one looks like my girl xxx

Hi,

The place I work in does 4d Scans and the Dr reccommends having the scan between 23-29 weeks as thats when the baby is most active.....If your having one make sure you have a sugary coffee or a can of coke 15-20 minutes before hand as you will get a better scan.

i'm getting a 4d scan for free!! and nurse said to wait until after 26 weeks.... so going for 28 weeks so it breaks up the 20 week scan etc...
think all the pics on here are amazing!! I am sooooo excited now!!!
