Hi guys - sorry but I really need to have a rant

Had a few pregnancy symptoms over the last few days and am really hoping to see that BFP. Anyway, I mentioned stuff to my OH and said 'maybe this could be our month'....guess what he said.....

'I don't think you are pregnant'.....pfft. How the F**k would he know, has he suddenly become a psychic?? What a complete and utter bas***d!!!!

Feel a bit low now....I'm only 9DPO :(

:wall2:

don't take it to heart, he knows that if he gets excited with you and you do get a BFN he won't be able to comfort you as well as he would be if he wasn't really disappointed as well. make sense? he is just protecting his feelings to protect yours.

i just re-read that and not sure it explains very well - hope it does. How long yu been TTC?

Sorry to hear that hun.

something my oh said that hurt me the other day was after i said to him that it was taking a while to conceive this time. he came out with 'well you aint trying hard enough'. its like how much more can i do? i do opks, bbt, checking my cervix and cm, take multivitamins and iron tablets, folic acid tablets and im constantly bugging you gals on here over every little thing x x

hubbys really do have severe foot in mouth sydrome sometimes dont they!

thanks guys :) I kind of see where you're coming from itsbabytime but I just don't think he's that clever!!

Agreed hun. all they really gotta do is produce the milkshake, its up to us gals to do the rest x x

all i can think about now is "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" by Kelis heehee

Some men just don't have a clue hun, don't let it get to you fx for that :bfp: xx

Men! They really have NFI!

I'm sure he probably just didn't think it through before he opened his mouth...he was probably trying to stop you building your hopes up incase you got :bfn: as doesn't want to see you heartbroken- he just probably didn't go the right way about it!

My mam always says under her breath to me 'men are from mars' when my hubby does something that winds me up and she is around! She is so right! They just don't think the same way we do!

Hope you get sorted soon and Im keeping fingers crossed for your :bfp: so you can tell your hubby 'I told you so!'

xxx :dust: xxx

sorry to hear that hun, men in particular
just think if they stick it in us we'll get pregnant straight away my OH didn't realize how much pressure i was putting on myself to get pregnant. they dont think how much hurt we have to go through with a :bfn: every month he'll be there for you hun if it doesnt happen! love katie

PAH MEN!! they have no idea!! they really dont know the half of it do they!
be strong hun xx

My DH said the same to me at 10dpo last month and i nearly hit the roof too. It doesn't help when you have a ton of progesterone running around your body to hear that. I think most of the time they are trying to help in their own way, but I delighted in telling him when AF arrived that HE had failed ME... afterall my ov was +, he's only got to get one up there for heaven's sake!!!

There's no way he can know at this stage either way, so keep positive, its not over til AF arrives...
