I haven't used these tests before. I usually go off a period tracker that has always been reliable, but since I miscarried last week I have no idea when I'll be ovulating.

I took a test yesterday, but purely to see how it worked more than anything as I was only CD6. I was thinking of testing at around CD10. Is this too early?

I read on here somewhere doctors say start around CD8. I started at CD6 and have been seeing faint lines since. Hoping I'm building up to a positive!

I think it depends how long your cycles normally are re when you should start testing! I just had a look on the clear blue website and there is a page on it called when-to-start-ovulation-testing, this will tell you at which cd to start testing depending on the length of your cycle (ignore the date part) xx

Thank you. Pre-miscarriage I had a normal 28 day cycle, and I am sure it'll revert to that after this cycle. I'm just unsure about this month because of the MC.

Chances are you will ovulate a little late after the MC but I would say start testing early because if you are later than you expect and didn't start testing early you will drive yourself crazy wondering if you missed it.

My cycles can be all over the place with PCOS and since it was my first time I thought it would be a good idea to test early to get an idea of what's going on. Can't be a bad thing to have more I do on ourselves can it!

Oh darn it ladies. I have been doing it all wrong. I've been POAS first thing like with pregnancy tests! Doh! Will do one this afternoon instead!

Don't know why but I always got my positive in the morning so it's not the same for everyone.

it seems people peak at different points in the day, but they say not to use fmu as it can give false positives! I find I got mine on the opks at about 2 in the afternoon xx
