Hi ladies.

My husband and I have just decided to bring our TTC date forward to December. (4.5 months eeeeee)

When should I go and see my GP? What should I expect?

why will you need to see your gp??
only see your gp if you have been unsuccessfull after 12months of trying x

I'd go asap - before you even start :)

You need to have a rubella test and an STI smear.

Maybe ask very nicely for an FSH test if you are reaching 35.

Also you want to take any info regarding you cycles and just ask for their opinion and advice on how to proceed :)

I agree with Louise :)

It doesn't do any harm going to see your GP or even the Midwife to discuss TTC. My midwife told me to come and see her before we TTC again for a chat about these things. They are not just there for when you are already pregnant and she made a point about saying that to us :)

Thanks ladies. I hadn't considered the midwife.

I'm due a smear anyway so I'll maybe do them all together?

Would there be any sense in going to my FPC instead? Or should I make it the Dr?

I want to ask a few questions as there is spina bifida and epilepsy in our family so I want to take some advice on that.
