is it right that you're not allowed to have sex until all bleeding has completely stopped yeah? cause i can go two days without bleeding, then ill get a tiny bit, so im worried incase i think ive stopped bleeding, have sex and i actually havent stopped bleeding properly...

They tend to say not in first 6 week after birth.

It is 6 weeks because your cervix takes a long time to close and there is a risk of infection.

I asked my mw this the other day and she said it's personal choice BUT there is a major fertility surge 3 weeks after birth apparently. I'm stop start on the bleeding now too but omg when it comes its heavy and I think the OH would pass out if I bled half way through lol

Haha bb thats what im worried about! but im not really getting alot at all now so fingers crossed its coming to an end.

im gonna go on the implant as well so i might wait til thats done aswell coz i dont trust condoms!!

my GP does an 8 week check not a 6 week so still got 4 weeks to go!!!think i might go docs before then! xxx

I was told they advise 6 weeks. Im still sore though from my 3rd degree tear 7 weeks on so im affraid the husband will have to wait even longer.

The physio has said I do need to attempt getting jiggy with it before I go for my internal next month just in case I have questions and there is a problem.

I have been told they say to wait with vaginal birth because of tiny tears that can get infected or even air bubbles getting into the blood system which can actually be fatal. I think it's different with c-section but tbh when I can't even feel when I need a pee I don't think I'll risk my muscles cramping up with orgasm thanks very much. Don't think my washing machine can take much more lmao

With my first i waited 3 weeks and it felt weird i was told after i should have waited because i had section and risk of infection. My scar got infected but that was a different reason so its up to you x i think i will be waiting till i can put my patch on this time so no more babies for a while x
