When does head engage

My MW said last week babys head is down but not quite engaged. at what stage does it normally engage and how do they refer to it as?

mine went at 35 weeks and she said 3/5ths doesnt really make sense to me lol

none of my baies heads engaged. not all babies do. i seen the midwife in the morning and babies head was bobbing about not close to being engaged. that night i gave birth

On your notes they'll write ceph engaging or engaged which means head down (ceph) and dropping into the pelvis. LO can engage and disengage all the time so wouldnt worry about it, the main thing is that they're head down.

sometimes they dont engage until delivery, depends how much space its got id expect
