How many weeks pregnant are you before the baby can hear? None of the books I've got mention it

i think its between 22 and 24 weeks, not really sure tho

I JUST read in the rough guide to pregnancy book by Kaz Cook (was recommended to buy it by a member-thats why i mentioned it lol) that its this week for me..the 21st week! So amazing!

hmm.. i dont know then. My book says 21 weeks. probably another one of those things where the weeks are off. But then i dont think the ear bones form that early

i think everything gives conflicting advice ect all the time, go by what your book says.

Dodgy huh?
They all say different.. guess we'll never know anything for sure!!

The book i've got said that he could hear me from 16 weeks then outside i think was two or three weeks later.

I thought it was at about 22 weeks I think I saw it on those loverly videos (from the top of the forum). Because the thing that allows you to hear are the 3 tiny bones inside your ear and babys bones dont start to form properly untill later on which is why it cannot hear.

can't sy for sure but can tell you it's before 24 weeks.

OH popped a very very loud champagne cork a few days ago and Sam jumped a mile! :D
