when did your milk come in?

This has been so helpful, thank you ladies.

I didn't leak at all during my pregnancy, I didn't breastfeed baby but 4-5 days after I was having a wee after a 2am bottle and thought the ceiling was leaking. Nope, it was like someone and turned my booby tap on :oooo:

Haha toni
I cant wait for that to happen
Crying or running water sounds can make it worse
I know someone that when she was running the bath it just ran all down her legs and onto her feet lol

No milk or leakage for me yet either but reading through this thread is really helpful as I'm keen to BF. We've also had a feeding workshop class and will have a BF support worker come to visit when baby arrives so I'm really glad to have a great support as a ftm.

Five days post c section with both my two. Just be aware that it is totally possible to BF after a section, but baby might be less willing to latch on their own and milk tends to come in later.

3rd pregnancy here and I've never leaked before. My milk came in day 5 with DS and day 3 with DD. I can confirm that the tiniest amount of colostrum is enough to keep them satisfied in the beginning. I had to express at the start and only managed to get 0.1ml and the midwife was delighted. Like pp my babies suckled constantly for the day before milk came in and it really is them telling your body what they need. Continued right through BF for me. Cluster feeding every now and again to get supply up. Good luck with everything.
