I know everybody is different but I am just wondering when everyone's nausea eased off? I was really hoping it would shift around 12 weeks but am 13w 5d and am still throwing up daily and feeling awful for most of the day.

I'm 12+6 and still the same joey. I'm preparing myself for this lasting until week 16! I struggle to do anything with myself for hours in the morning I feel so awful xx

I'm 19 weeks today and a few weeks ago I was still being sick once or twice a week. Felt a little nauseous when I got up this morning after some water but it's not very often and didn't last too long. Hope you both start to feel better soon xx

I think I'll still be the same too April. I'm just hoping by 16 weeks I'll be able to function better but I'm pretty sure I'll be sick throughout this pregnancy! Thank you hun xxx

Oh no, sorry to hear you are still unwell, you've had it way worse than me and I'm struggling so I really feel for you! Fingers crossed it passes for us both soon. The 16 week mark isn't too far away, gives me something to aim for!

Thank you April, I'm glad it got better for you!

I am almost 16 weeks and still nauseous with random vomiting. It seems to depend on the person / pregnancy. I've had friends who didn't start to feel better until 21 weeks and some who had it throughout. Not many though!! I hope you feel better soon. x

Since yesterday I've felt totally vile, nothing is touching it. I've been totally stuck to the couch except to vomit. I'm really really fed up now, I keep getting upset as it's making me so utterly miserable. Add in the headaches and dizzy spells, they're making the sickness worse!

Sorry for being so moany. I cannot see an end in sight xx

You poor thing, I really hope you feel better soon. I actually felt ok for a few hours today, it was really nice and hopefully the start of things easing off. One of the worst things about feeling ill has been that it ruins pregnancy and I feel worse for not being super happy. Obviously I am but it does put a downer on things

Exactly joey, I got so upset today at how bad I've been feeling but then got more upset because I realised I'm not enjoying this pregnancy at all. We waited years plus ivf for this baby and I've barely enjoyed a second of it, I feel like nothing but a miserable cow and I'm dying to start enjoying it!

I really hope those good few hours start becoming more often for you hun xx

Thanks, I'm back to feeling rotten again but tea appreciated those few hours.I don't think it could be possible to be totally happy when you are as ill as you've been so don't be so hard on yourself and it should all be over soon x

I'm with you ladies! 13 + 1 and still crazy sick and feel awful 24/7 since week 3. Can barely walk to the bathroom to vomit without getting so dizzy. My mum had hyperemesis and was sick even after we were born but said it did ease up marginally at 14 weeks. My sister was sick until 20 weeks with her first, 16 weeks with her second and third. I don't have much hope its going away soon. I've lost over half a stone

I'm now 16 + 5 and am thankfully starting to feel more human. I'm still sick after my shower every day and brushing my teeth makes me gag but I'm generally ok for the rest of the day. Hang on in there and it'll get better, hopefully sooner rather than later! I really appreciate the moments of normality now, it's so nice not to feel horrendous and to be able to enjoy food again!

You poor things. I felt totally rough from 6 weeks but luckily from 12 weeks I began feeling a lot more human. Still not 100% but I can actually get off the sofa now without feeling completely vile. I'm 14+6 now. I feel for you guys who are still struggling.

I was 16 weeks before the sickness stopped. I'm now 19+3 and have the occasional night of heartburn which I can handle.

Hope you all feel better soon x

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and although the sickness has eased, it's still here every day. Today I've felt utter crap, my blood pressure was only 80/50 at my appointment on Tuesday, no wonder I'm almost fainting every day. I forced myself out this afternoon to get some maternity jeans (I'm fighting a losing battle with my normal jeans) and almost fainted 3 times. It just makes my nausea so much worse! I really can't wait for a day I feel human, where I can function normally and eat!!

Sorry ladies having a major poor me afternoon! Xx

With my daughter I had it severely until around 20 weeks. This pregnancy it eased off around 12 weeks. It comes back if I'm dehydrated, though. It will pass! Good luck xxx

Hang in there ladies! I know we all feel like we're dying but look how much we're already sacrificing for our babies - what keeps me going is thinking even if it lasts the whole pregnancy we get a prize at the end which makes it all worth it!!

Ladies, I too have been suffering and it really does affect your mood after a while.

With my first pregnancy I felt absolutely fine, would randomly vomit every now and again but on the whole nothing major.
This pregnancy has completely wiped me out the constant nausea and violently sick episodes were getting me down, I couldn't really eat because I felt so sick. I figured that's just how things can be so did nothing but suffering on.

Then, I realised i'd lost 11lbs in the first 14 weeks coupled with how dire I was feeling. I have now got some anti-sickness medication from the doctor - only very light stuff really but it's made such a difference. The nausea and violent sickness has now gone and because I can actually eat now, my energy levels and mood have improved.

I guess what i'm trying to say is don't suffer and get yourself down, assuming that you're suppose to be feeling horrendous, chat to a doctor and see what they can do. I'm the last person to recommend medication if you can avoid it but I really couldn't see how I was going to carry on when I was feeling so crap.

Hey Joey,

Feeling any better lately?

I felt sick but was only sick 2-3 times up to about 12 weeks. I'm nearly 14 weeks now and feel so much better, but get dizzy more often and feel bloated in my upper stomach a lot. Back pain too! LOL! Yay!

They say by 20 weeks you start feeling much better but unfortunately some women can feel sickly throughout the whole thing - I think it's normal to become more sick right towards the end?

See it as a plus and a reminder that you are pregnant and baby is there, well, and causing trouble the tinker!

X

I'm 13+4 today and feeling much better sickness wise, but I fainted on the train today so clearly not better yet!
