When am I going to get really sick?

Hi Girls,

Just wondered, when does the sickness really start with avengance (just so I am prepared)! Obviously, I'm still really early on so don't feel particularly bad at the moment except for my annoying stuffy nose and occasional mild nausea.

I am going on a fairly active holiday when I will be 8 weeks (provided things continue OK) and wondered how bad I'm likely to be then?

That's a difficult one to answer, because everyone is different. You may be fine and only suffer mild symptoms throughout

I'm 12 weeks now and haven't been sick once. Felt quite nauseus at times but not actually sick.

My sickness started at about 4 weeks and is still here. I hope you are one of the luck ones that dont get it too bad.

I only had two bouts of morning sickness. Around 50% of women don't suffer so theres a good chance you won't get any.

im 6 weeks.. only feel ever so slightly sick in the morning when i havent eatten..

havent been sick at all..and when i was pg with my daughter i felt sick a lot but was only ever sick once after eattign beans on toast?? lol..

I started having sickness between 6-7 weeks and it lasted until just over 13 weeks, everyone is different, you never know you might get away with not having any.

I felt very sick right from the begining, but wasn't actually sick until 3 days ago.

Dead on 6 weeks for me, and stopped dead on 12. I'm so text book!!

Mine started at 3 weeks very mild and has gotten worse since, Im hoping it stops soon!

Everyone is different hun, u may be one of the lucky ones that doesnt have much sickness!

I was definitely one of the luck ones and hope you are too. I had mild nausea on and off for about 2 weeks (about every other day but it did tend to last most of the day) from weeks 7-9 then a week with nothing where I completely paniced but it came back for a couple of days in week 10 and have been absolutely fine since.

I think you need to check you ticker. You can't be 2 weeks pregnant cuase you won't have found out till you were at least 4 weeks (or slightly before).

When was the first day of your last AF, or when did you ovulate?

First day of last AF 3rd May. Ovulated early according to BBT on 13th-14th May (ie. 2 weeks and 4 or 5 days ago).

Just looking into the nomeclature - I assumed that the number of weeks referred to since conception, not from last AF. Does this mean I get to advance my ticker by 2 weeks!!! How exciting!

Can someone tell me have I got this right?!

Sickness was from about 6 weeks with both pregnancies. Was terrible with the first but not half as bad with the second. So you have a good chance to be fine!

Often the sickness is worse when you are tired or haven't eaten so if you are relaxing on your hols you might find you are fine.

I bought the travel sickness bands this time and they really helped.

I had NO sickness, just couldnt stand smell of dog food when I fed our doggie but other than that I was symptom free and VERY VERY lucky. My sis was also PG, and she didnt suffer, and my mum didnt with us so I think it was a family trait xxx

I felt slightly sick in the 4th week, but it really picked up during the 5th week. I've only actually been sick once, but I've been feeling pretty miserable with the nausea. I hope you are one of the lucky ones!

felt nauseaus since aroe head down around week 5... and have had head down loo since yesterday at 7 weeks.... ing it will pass quickly...

hopefully you will be lucky and not suffer...
