Ok I'm being dumb but for those that give this for breaksfast how do you serve it? Do you saok it in milk until soft enough, or serve straight away? Can you use water instead of milk? Is formula ok?

I don't liek cerelas like this so have never tought about it until bought some today intending for Logan to have it for tomorrows breaskfast.

i crush a weetabix into a bowl, add enough formula milk to cover then put it in the microwave for a very short time about 20seconds,stir well add more milk if need be and serve straight away or it sets llike concrete :rotfl:

I put it in whole, put fresh milk on top (semi-skimmed as it's what we drink) Leave it to soak. Then when it's soggy i serve it. Usually as it is but sometimes with fruit or yogurt on top.

We get the bite size ones, put full fat milk on top (which is fine after 6 months in cereal etc) and she eats them herself. Sometimes she has banana or other fruit on it too.

Just put as much in a baby bowl as will fit, cover it with full fat milk or formula and either serve it as it is (though I always made sure I got all of it a bit wet so there was no crunchy bits - just because I personally cant deal with crunchy bits lmao) or as someone else said stick it in the microwave for a little bit 20 secs, and then scoop around a bit and serve. Apparently you can make it with water but I've never tried. Baby rice works ok with water.
I did find though that slightly warm went down better than with milk cold from the fridge :)

HV told me to give Aimee half a Weetabix at first but now she can eat a full one. I put it in her bowl, pour about 1oz of formula milk, mash it up and heat in micro for 10 seconds. Sometimes I have to put a bit more milk in as the weetabix soaks it up so fast. Like Helsekia says, serve it straight away!

We started on half a weetabix at first and within a couple of days Dylan was taking a full one. I make up his formula fresh and our that on. It's usually still warm enouigh so no need to microwave. I use about 3 ozs forumla per 1 weetabix as i find it can become a bit 'sticky' otherwise.
