Whats going on?

Hi Everybody,

Apologies in advance as my question is a bit long winded

Im new to the site (i have been lurking for a month or so) and im TTC baby number 2. I already have an 8year old daughter and my partner has a 9year old boy but we want to try together.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem to me - I had the mirena removed on 10th May had AF on 5th June and which (according to my app Ovia) would make my fertile window start on 16th June, however I tested for ovulation a few times during this period and nothing. Anyway I waited till the app said to test and the test was negative.

I should have had another period last week and so far nothing so I tested again at the weekend and still negative.

I suppose im asking If I could be pregnant and its way too early or whether the mirena has messed up my cycles?

Anyone with any advice I would love to hear it.

The app is just a guess and everybody is different. You may ov before or after that estimate so its worth starting opks around cd8-10 after your surge opks go negative fairly quickly so you may have missed it

What chase said, unless you test everyday and sometimes more than once a day, you could miss ovulation but if the mirena is to do with hormones it could take a while for your body to level out and get af again! My first full cycle coming off the pill was about 50days!

Having the coil removed messed up my cycle, it can be. My last cycle I been very late after I took off the coil.
