What y'all doing new years eve?

I'm not doing anything!!! And i'm happy about it.

DH wants to do something but we live 5 miles out of town, i'm up the duff and we've only just got Chester into a bedtime routine that works! I just want to spend it at home with my boys and loads of choc and junk food!

I cant be arsed with going out so we are just having a quite night in the house Its too bloody cold to be wandering around over priced pubs full of idiots i dont want to talk to anyway!

at the risk of sounding like an old woman, when ur young NYE is like one of THE biggest nites of the year, and one of the best- until u get to about 23 and realise that actually its overrated and overpriced and ur kidding urself about how much fun youve had just to justify to urself how much u been ripped off!

iv boycotted NYE since 2005

i'm staying in, and proud! hoping for one of those top 100 things on e4...

I've bought loads of party food, far too much for 4 of us but who cares Our friends are supplying the alcohol and the Wii and we are getting typsy and playing games!

Beats standing in queues, paying to get into clubs that are normally free and usually crap and standing in 10 man deep queues at the bar think i'm getting old

I've NEVER done anything for NYE!!! God knows why! I'm 22 and never experienced nights out for Xmas and new year!
I was planning on stopping in as usual but my older sister is home alone so we're picking up a chinese and going to hers. No doubt i'll leave at 12.01am as i'll be dying for my bed!

I'll be gagging for my bed by 12.01 as well! I never stay up that late and Chester will be up at 6am as usual but I will still feel I have to stay up til gone midnight, snog my hubby, text my mates then go bed... same every year!

Our familly had a huge party once when I was about 8, fell asleep around 10pm though, even slept through all the party poppers at midnight. woke up the next day and realised id missed it all and had a huge paddy

2nd year on the trot we're not doing anything last year i was preg (found out on 28th dec) and OH had a tummy bug so we sat in with his mum and dad drinking tea ( burnin the candles at both ends woooohooooo )

think we're just gonna see the new year in with lyla a nice meal and maybe a bit o tuther when lyla goes to sleep ( i should be so lucky on the last 1 as he has 'man flu' )

me and OH are off out for meal at a lovely chinese (somewhere not doing a party night!) and then back home for the usual guff on telly and junk food!

going to paint the bedroom during the day so will probably lie in bed with OH and the cat, admiring my handy work.. what such a beautiful bedroom we now have

got a huge 2 and half metre wide window opposite our bed so will be able to watch fireworks out of it
everyone round here has loads of fireworks.

We're having a party for my hubby who is 21 on New Year's day. It's mainly family and not many of them drink so it will probably involve card games, buzz and singstar, followed by party poppers and cake. Lol. I loveee it

Same here I think!! Although we are popping over to OH'S best friend's for a few hours as they are having a housewarming/NYE party, OH will probably have a few drinks as one of his other mates is driving us there and back, I'll stick to the OJ, and we won't be out late as they also have kids! Then back home where hopefully he'll give me a nice birthday present of how's your father!

well new years is a bit crap 4 me ne way i dnt go out 2 pubs or ought cuz i dnt drink i never been drunk in my life thank god ....not saying tht u av 2 drink 2 go out but everytime i do go into a pub or club and theres people drunk and thy go on and on and on hehe a bit like my OH x

me and OH haven't been out on news years eve since James was born..lack of baby sitters.

I can't say I'm particularly fussed though, I've never had a really good night out on NYE as it's always hyped up so much and then its a big disappointment cos it's expensive, crowded and freezing cold!!

Normally I'd have a few drinks at home but I can't even do that this year as I'm not supposed to drink with my PND meds
