Ok, with my brain all over the place i could really do with some help!

My car got stolen back in Feb and i have now received my payout from the insurance so can now afford to buy another car but what do i do?

The car i had was Honda Type R

This is what we've been looking at - Mazda 3 Sport

I loved my Type R and would get another but not sure that its practual as only 3 door, so do i go for the 5 door mazda and bank some spare cash or get another Honda or get neither???

What do think?

I would probably get the honda because it looks nicer! Haha no other reason!

I'm absolutely crap with cars, the only difference between the two (as far as I can see) is the colour! I voted the second one (can't even remember the name of the car now lol) THE BLUE ONE! :rotfl: xx

TBH with a baby on the way I'd go a bit more practical than the 3 door Honda. Baby seats when rear facing in a 3 door are a pain and we are getting rid of our VW Golf for that reason. We already have an estate anyways so just going from 2 to 1 car. And when forward facing having to haul a seat forward every time you need to get to your child becomes a real pain. Give me the rear doors any days.

Plus the extra cash would come in handy for something.

Mazda make very good cars. And the Mazda 3 is no slouch. I personally prefer the Mazda anyways.

I'm not sure I'd even worry about the Sport version either. Save on insurance and so on getting a less sporty model, unless you really like that sort of thing. But thats just me. I've driven all sorts of cars and loads of sports/souped up ones but with kids I'd rather some less eye catching and high maintenance. Give me something less fussy I won't mind a 3 year old throwing up in

Id go with the Mazda as its more practical and still looks really nice! x

I voted for the Mazda as it is the 5 door. I'm trading my 3 door in for a more practical model too. I'm going for an Astra envoy 1.4 because it'll be cheaper for road tax which is going up in the next few years.
